Valery Petelin (1963-)
Born in Moscow, Valery Petelin has a long career behind him as a commercial designer specializing in digital illustration, so much so that he is considered one of the best in his field. His creations are mainly characterized by subjects with a military background, used for many historical publications and product packaging, especially for the modeling sector.
Apart from his commercial work he is inspired by the world of fantasy and surrealism. The subjects he addresses in his surreal digital paintings are dark and often disturbing.
